Khamzat Chimaev can often be a spectacle inside a cage, but even outside, he’s still grabbing fans’ attention. Earlier last year, the Chechen defeated welterweight veteran Kamaru Usman at UFC 294 but would soon report having injured his hand. Later, ‘Borz’ would also inform his fans he was a bit sick only to delete the X post quickly.

Now, it’s been a while since the incident, and Chimaev has been seemingly doing better, or at least that’s what his recent visit to the UK prove. The fighter has now moved to middleweight and was promised a bout against the reigning champion. So until he gets his fight, it looks like Chimaev will enjoy soccer matches and recovery time. Here’s more on his recent post on Instagram.

Khamzat Chimaev recently took to his Instagram handle to upload a picture. In it, he can be seen overlooking a stadium in Manchester, UK. In all possibility, he was there to watch a game in his leisure time but does that make Chimaev a fan too? Perhaps ‘Borz’ does have a favorite team right there.

This post comes after another one of his training videos. Chimaev has been through the motions of his sickness and getting back to training. He recently appeared in a video where he proved to his fans that his motivation was as high as ever. He noted, “Christmas, holidays, every day. It doesn’t matter. Have to work. When you sick, you have to rest.”

“Now, we are smarter, work harder to take this f*cking belt bro. I’m gonna take it. It’s my belt. They know it’s my belt, but just the guys run away. But soon, I take them”- clearly, the fighter worked his way through his health issues and even trained during the holidays.

Either way, fans can’t wait to see the fighter back in action. He’s been ready to go for the middleweight belt and it shows. Currently, the belt sits on Sean Strickland‘s shoulder who will soon fight Dricus Du Plessis and we will have to wait to see if he gets to keep it. Once that fight’s over, will Chimaev get his shot? For now, fans are happy watching ‘Borz’ enjoy Soccer.
