The pair posed for photographs at the Chopard Gentleman’s Evening during the Cannes Film Festival. The couple stunned fans with their coordinated outfits. However, the Irishman seems to have had a lot of fun with his friend ‘Cedric the Entertainer’.

The 58-year-old actor took to Instagram to share how he and McGregor stopped the traffic at the film festival for a good few minutes. Sharing a picture with McGregor, he wrote, “I’m out walking the #frenchrivera and the one and only @thenotoriousmma pulled up on me We shut the traffic down like 6-7 minutes laughing and taking pics”.

‘The Notorious’ liked Cedric Antonio Kyles’ post. However, just weeks ago, the actor and comedian reacted to Will Smith slapping Chris Rock.

He said, “… and me, you smack, you get smacked back, that’s all. … I hosted an event immediately following that, and I told people ‘look, I might say something over here. If you get the nerves to walk up here, know that I smack back. I’m a back smacker.”

Thus, it looks like no one dared to approach him and McGregor while they halted the traffic for a few minutes. After all, hassling a ‘back smacker’ and a professional MMA fighter would not be a great idea.

McGregor, who attended the event, was decked in a purple suit jacket, whereas his fiancée Dee Devlin was dressed in a pink dress with colorful patterns. With both dressed in some bright, bold colors, they seemed to make a statement at the event.

While fans are used to seeing McGregor in some great suits, his purple blazer was surely very eye-catching.
