Marquez started the fight strong and had Barriault on the back foot in the first round. However, Barriault took his time and came back stronger in the second round. The 33-year-old Canadian landed several strikes that landed on target. Once he sensed that Marquez was hurt, he did not take his foot off the gas until the finish.
