‘Poatan’ became a famous name in the world of MMA even before his UFC debut. It is because of his two wins, one decision, and one knockout, against the current UFC champion Izzy during their time in Glory Kickboxing. Ever since Pereira’s debut in the UFC, people are speculating about how a clash between the two would turn out.

While talking to the reporters at the UFC 276 Australian press conference, Adesanya gave his thoughts about fighting either Pereira or Sean Strickland next. He said, I look forward to either one of those fights.”

And these ain’t big pillow gloves. These are four-ounce deadly weapons, and I can’t wait to drive that through his face,” Izzy concluded.
