Khamzat Chimaev is easily one of the most hyped fighters on the UFC roster. The Swedish wrestler, who competes in the welterweight division of the UFC, has dominated every fight he has taken part in since he began his career.

In an interview with Brett Okamoto of ESPN, Dana White admitted that it’s hard for him to find an opponent for ‘Borz’ as no one wants to fight Chimaev. However, one welterweight is more than ready to prove Dana White wrong.

The UFC President said, “Soon I hope, yeah, we are working on that right now. Listen, you know I was saying the other day, no, nobody’s overly excited to fight Khamzat except for Neil Magny. Somebody said, ‘Hey, Neil Magny’ I said that is true, Neil Magny. Neil Magny is one of those guys who will literally fight anybody. Anybody, anywhere, short notice, whatever, Magny’s a stud. But, yeah, nobody’s overly excited to fight Khamzat.”

Later, Okamoto asked White if Chimaev would get a title shot next if everybody kept avoiding him. To this White replied in the negative and said, “No no no.”

In a rather hilarious and somewhat terrifying message, Khamzat Chimaev (10-0) has asked for the UFC boss’ permission to let him “eat” ranked welterweight Neil Magny (25-9). This came as a reply to White’s revelation about Magny being open to fighting the Swedish wrestler.

However, ‘The Haitian Sensation’ isn’t afraid to take on Khamzat Chimaev. In a recent episode of The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Magny claimed he has been trying to fight ‘Borz’ for “Literally a year.”

“This whole boogeyman idea that no one wants to fight, I’m like, ‘No, man. I’m right here,'” Magny told Helwani.

‘The Haitian Sensation’, who beat Geoff Neal in his last fight, is currently #7 on the welterweight charts. As he sits just four spots higher than Chimaev, it could be a probable booking.
