“Anything changed since Elon Musk bought Twitter?” – UFC Champion Israel Adesanya Questions $44 Billion Twitter Purchase

The UFC middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya, is one of the most entertaining fighters in the promotion. Adesanya has a huge social media presence and is one of the most popular UFC superstars. He is very interactive with his fans and runs his own YouTube channel as well.

In a recent tweet, the middleweight champion questioned the billionaire philanthropist Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter. Adesanya asked his fans if they could point out any changes in Twitter ever since Musk purchased the social media platform.

He wrote, Anything changed since @elonmusk bought Twitter? Show me something…”

The billionaire purchased the social media platform this year for a price of a whopping $44 million dollars. Musk bought Twitter and vowed to bring back ‘free speech’ free from any kind of interference from any type of political interference. However, the middleweight champion doesn’t see any difference since the deal.

Many other UFC stars have also weighed on the billion-dollar purchase. Some of these include former UFC champion Jake Shields, Dan Hardy, and color commentator, Joe Rogan.

What’s next for Israel Adesanya?

After coming off of a recent victory against ‘Robert ‘The Reaper‘ Whittaker, Israel Adesanya extended his record of having the second-longest winning streak in UFC middleweight history. He is five consecutive wins away from beating the record, which is held by the UFC legend, Anderson Silva.

Adesanya will return to the octagon to defend his title against ‘The Killa Gorilla,’ aka Jared Cannonier. The UFC revealed that Adesanya will take on Cannonier at UFC 276 and will headline the highly anticipated event. UFC 276 will take place on July 2 at the iconic T mobile arena in Las Vegas.

Other fights that will also take place at UFC 276 include Alexander Volkanovski versus Max Holloway, Sean Strickland versus Alex Pereira, and Sean O’Malley versus Pedro Munhoz.
