Finally, on episode #1760 of the podcast with Internet Entrepreneur Adam Curry, Rogan discussed if Crypto can replace the age-old monetary system. “I have a lot of hope for cryptocurrencies, I really do. I don’t know much about them, but Bitcoin and Ethereum seem to be the ones people talk the most,” Rogan told Curry.

Later, he also predicted what the future holds for these virtual assets and how humanity can use them to their advantage. However, he also detailed the worst-case scenario for crypto.

“It’s either going to fall apart completely, or we’re going to use this as an opportunity to right the ship and come up with a better way to live our lives. It’s going to be one or the other.”

Later, as the discussion moved forward, Adam Curry also made his case, and they slowly shifted onto NFTs. Notably, NFTs stand for non-fungible tokens and are exclusive commodities that function within a blockchain framework. Remarkably, Rogan stated that soon corporations might use NFTs for their benefits and offer personalized versions of them to their consumers.

“Apple could easily do that. It’s almost like another version of stocks or something,” Rogan continued.
