The women’s flyweight division of UFC is witnessing its greatest championship reign with Bullet Valentina Shevchenko leading the pack. The Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian fighter has cleaned her division and is actively looking for more contenders. A rising name in the division has brought forward a fan-favorite Brazilian fighter Queen of Violence, Ariane Lipski.

Ariane has managed to pick up 3 wins in her last 7 outings with the promotion. She has faced off against Valentina’s older sister Antonina Shevchenko but failed to get her hands raised. The 27-year-old contender is looking to make a return to the octagon with a key match-up against JJ Aldrich in the first quarter of 2021.

Ariane Lipski will be looking to enhance her win streak

The 27-year-old Brazilian fighter did not have a great run in the promotion. She made her debut back in 2019 but failed in her advent. Her run with the promotion has been lackluster, and it has put her in a difficult spot.

Meanwhile, Aldrich has been on an impressive run with the promotion as she continues to rack up more victories. In her 9 fights with the promotion, Aldrich has picked up 6 wins and has only suffered 3 losses in the process.

Currently, Aldrich is on a 2-fight win streak, and a victory over Ariane will definitely put her in a great position to break into the top 20. Aldrich has a much better record than her opponent and is currently riding the wave of 2 decision wins.

Stylistically, this matchup will allow fans to test the skills of Ariane and whether she possesses the skill set to finish a formidable fighter.

This could also serve as a great opportunity for the Brazilian to take corrective steps to bring her career around. She is currently sitting with a negative win-loss record and if she picks up more losses, things will definitely become a lot scarier.
