‘With power comes responsibility,’ and with popularity comes controversy. Such has been the case of UFC color commentator and podcast host Joe Rogan, who found himself in another controversy as he reportedly made false comments against the food laws in Australia.

In an episode of his podcast, Rogan said that the politicians in New South Wales, Australia, were going to pass a law that would not allow citizens to grow their own food.

Rogan said, “I want to know what their justification was, but I’m pretty sure it had to do with agricultural contamination. You could justify it if you’re a real piece of sh*t.”

Rogan said that he believed authorities in Australia were ‘f**king creeps.’ Rogan further added, “We gonna stop these motherf***ers from growing their own food, because that’s how you smoke out an anti-vaxxer, because you can’t go to a grocery store anymore, and you can’t grow your own food.”

Joe Rogan gave a firm opinion on this issue, but it might not have been true. Once it was confirmed, fans did not waste their time on taking a shot at the UFC color commentator.

Social Media takes a dig at Joe Rogan for reacting to fake news

Further, into the episode, Rogan’s podcast producer interrupted him to inform him he might be reacting to fake news. Rogan said that the news has to be a real thing and it’s too good to not be. Upon verifying, he finally realized it might be fake.

A user by the name of @KnowNothingTv on Twitter posted a clip of Joe Rogan reacting to fake news. Upon seeing this clip, Twitter users were quick to react and take a shot at Rogan.

One Twitter user commented saying why do such things get released and also questioned if Joe Rogan had editors to do a better job. The user also questioned if Rogan had any shame or decency before reacting like that.

Another Twitter user who lives in Australia said that it would be ridiculous if the government to even try to pass such a law. He described that most of Australia is rural and that they have free elections. He called Rogan’s reaction insane.

Another Twitter ID said that even though Joe Rogan admitted he did not react to the article, he still proceeds ahead and tells us about it, The user questioned how did Rogan know about the article if he did not read it.

A user from Australia said that it is saddening to think that people listen to this, and he also felt that a certain statement from the podcast was one of the most ridiculous statements ever.

Another user said that in his household, no one listened to his podcast. He also believed that the 2 minutes of this clip he saw defined why not watching the show has been a brilliant policy.

Joe Rogan has not been involved in a controversy for the first time. Although, regardless of all the controversy surrounding him, Joe Rogan continues to enjoy a massive following of listeners who tune into his podcast.
