Conor McGregor never seems to stop taking shots at his fellow UFC fighters on social media. A clip resurfaced from ‘The Ultimate Fighter 26’, where Justin Gaethje was talking about the infectivity of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu during fights. However, Conor McGregor clapped right back at ‘The Highlight’ in a Twitter post.

McGregor will be making his second appearance as a coach on the 31st season of the popular UFC reality show, ‘The Ultimate Fighter’. Moreover, he recently stumbled across an old video of Justin Gaethje advising a fighter from his team to not rely on jiu-jitsu.

‘The Highlight’ was seen advising flyweight fighter Gillian Robertson to use more striking than jiu-jitsu. He claims that jiu-jitsu isn’t a real fighting style. Gaethje said, “Jiu-jitsu is… I am probably gonna get hate, you know, people from that community. It’s a passive sport.” He added, “You can never win. Like, this is not wrestling or jiu-jitsu or kickboxing or boxing. It’s all of it combined. So you can never win a fight on your back or with your back on a cage.”

However, Conor McGregor wasn’t impressed with Gaethje’s opinion and tweeted: “Justin Gaethje is a handicap.” He clearly didn’t agree with ‘The Highlight’s assessment and decided to hit back at him on social media. On the other hand, Justin Gaethje shared a few thoughts on McGregor’s UFC comeback.
