Dublin was struggling with violent protests and so forth after an adult and three children were wounded during a stabbing. So when Conor McGregor used his social media to address the issue, it may have just irked the government.

“Innocent children ruthlessly stabbed by a mentally deranged non-national in Dublin, Ireland today. Our chief of police had this to say on the riots in the aftermath.” Conor McGregor wrote on his X account in a post. This quickly caught the government’s eye.

Soon, the Irish government started looking into McGregor and his affairs. He was accused of spreading hate online on a massive fanbase and Irish following. However, soon, McGregor would take on to his X account to let his fans know that he does not “condone” the violence and the rioting.
