UFC featherweight Max Holloway hasn’t fought inside the octagon since his loss to featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 276. A trilogy fight between Holloway and Volkanovski was in place, but ‘Blessed’ pulled out of the fight. However, fellow featherweight Giga Chikadze has issued a challenge to ‘Blessed’ Holloway and called him out on Twitter. Meanwhile, a fan reacted to Chikadze’s tweet and gave a funny response to the Georgian mixed martial artist. This isn’t the first time Chikadze has called out Max Holloway for a fight. After his win over Edson Barboza at UFC Fight Night: Barboza vs. Chikadze, ‘Ninja’ called out ‘Blessed’ in the post-fight interview. He said, “Been waiting (for) this moment, and Max …that’s why I’m here,” said Chikadze.

Giga Chikadze even appeared in an interview with TMZ where he claimed he can beat Max Holloway inside two rounds. However, this time his post on Twitter didn’t sit well with the fans of ‘Blessed.’ A Twitter user took the opportunity and fired back at the Georgian MMA star for calling out the former UFC featherweight champion.

A fan claims that Max Holloway will ‘murder’ Giga Chikadze

In his call out, Chikadze tweeted: “One is injured, another just got injured! You Max  @BlessedMMA do you wanna fight? I think we can make a good show. LMK… @ufc @danawhite.” ‘Ninja’ even tagged UFC president Dana White to make this match official. However, a fan on Twitter fired right back at Chikadze and gave a hilarious reply to the rising UFC star. The fan claimed that Chikadze was asking for his ‘murder’ after calling out Max Holloway. He wrote: “You are asking for your murder.”

Meanwhile, Giga Chikadze didn’t hold back and replied to the fan with a cold face emoji, mocking his statement of being scared of the featherweight veteran. The fan clapped again back again Chikadze and asked him to fight the young Nigerian fighter Sodiq Yusuff, which was called off last year as ‘Ninja’ withdrew from the fight.

Chikadze called out Max Holloway in light of recent injuries to UFC fighters. ‘Ninja’ had his last few fights canceled due to his opponents getting injured. He was initially set to take on Chan Sung Jung in Seoul. But the fight was called off after the ‘Korean Zombie’ met with a shoulder injury.
