Aspen Ladd will face Macy Chiasson at the UFC Vegas 32 event. Ladd is coming into the fight on the back of a well-deserved victory over Yana Kunitskaya at UFC on ESPN 7. At 26 years of age, many consider Ladd to be one of the brightest prospects in the UFC.

The fighter has lived up to those expectations as she has an impressive MMA record of (9-1). Out of her 9 victories, 7 of them have come via stoppage, proving that Ladd loves to finish fights. While Ladd has a relatively young career in the UFC, we decided to take a look at the 1 defeat she had in the UFC.

Ladd faced Sijara Eubanks at UFC Fight Night 152 on 18 May 2019, she won that fight via a unanimous decision. The fighter waited for a little before stepping into the Octagon again. As she again competed on July 13, 2019, at UFC Fight Night 155, this time the fighter suffered her first UFC and MMA defeat as she lost to Germaine de Randamie via a first round TKO.

The fighter suffered one of the quickest losses in the women’s bantamweight division. Ladd even appealed against the decision for a premature stoppage. However, the athletic commission voted it 3-2 against the appeal, and the loss remained intact.

Ladd came back strongly from the loss and won her next fight via a unanimous decision. And at 26 years of age, many believe we are yet to see the best of Aspen Ladd.

While Ladd is coming into the fight on the back of a well-deserved victory over Yana Kunitskaya. Her opponent Chiasson is also coming into the fight on the back of 2 impressive victories. Chiasson is 29 years old and along with Ladd is amongst the brightest prospects in the UFC.

Both fighters also have very similar MMA records and therefore it would be interesting to see which one would eventually end up with a victory.
