White admitted that the fight was indeed a marvelous one. He claimed that he was glad to shift the fight to the main event. He said, “So bad**s! I’m so glad that that’s the fight we moved to the main event here tonight. Let me start with, first of all, Mackenzie Dern looked unbelievable tonight. So aggressive. I mean, I don’t know what you guys thought, but I thought that this is gonna be one of those fights where Angela Hill came out, stand up, trying to take it to her and Mackenzie is gonna do everything in her power to get her to the ground, trying to submit her. And to see Mackenzie stand up, you know, the punches, the knees, actually hurting Angela Hill, who is tough as nails.”

With the completion of quite a few strong and entertaining fights, the main event posed huge pressure on the fighters to showcase their skills. Hill and Dern did not fail in that aspect. The Brazilian strawweight dominated the Octagon against ‘Overkill’ in the first round, but lost the second. Dern had not only improved her grappling skills but also her striking prowess. She kept connecting her fists with Hill’s chin.

Hill proved her strength repeatedly by escaping the deadly holds of Dern. However, at the end of the third round, the decision was made. The judges decided that it was Dern who rose victorious. The fight was certainly one to be remembered.
