Khabib Nurmagomedov has cemented his legacy as one of the most dominating fighters of all time. The Russian fighter is not just undefeated inside the Octagon, but moreover, he’s lost just two rounds in his entire career, and that is also up for debate. Nonetheless, there’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that it was Nurmagomedov’s wrestling that led to his success.

The fighter introduced a new form of grappling to the sport. A style nobody had seen before. Moreover, his style was so difficult to deal with that he never even lost a training session in the gym as well. Javier Mendez, Nurmagomedov’s head coach, revealed that the Russian almost never lost a round in training. Nevertheless, the only rounds he dropped were against a fellow Russian fighter and best friend, Islam Makhachev.

Recently, a video from Nurmagomedov’s training sessions resurfaced. The video showed how intense the eagle is in the gym.

In the post, ‘The Eagle‘ was grappling with another training partner of his. Everything was fine until the partner tried to shoot a takedown. Nurmagomedov stuffed it and in return clasped his hands behind the trainer’s back, picked him up, and body-slammed him on the mat.

Meanwhile, the caption of the post said that this footage makes the fans miss the undefeated fighter. Furthermore, it also goes on to show that the former champion isn’t just competitive inside the Octagon but also outside of it. And that he takes training as seriously as any other fight.
