The UFC world had quite a shock hearing about the unfortunate incident that fell upon the UFC Legend, Mark Coleman, and his family around 2:00 am on Tuesday. The house of Coleman’s parents caught on fire which resulted in tragedy for the family.
Though both of Coleman’s parents were unharmed due to the retired fighter’s heroism, the same can’t be said for the fighter and the family dog. Coleman helped his parents out of the house and went back in to save their family dog, Hammer. This led to him inhaling too much smoke, rendering him unconscious inside the burning house along with his dog. Coleman was airlifted to Toledo where he still remains in a medically induced coma. Meanwhile, Coleman’s daughters have reached out to the MMA community to help the family in any way possible.

Update on the UFC legend’s health
Mark Coleman had been airlifted to Toledo yesterday after almost losing his life to the fire that engulfed his parent’s house. Other than that, there wasn’t much information on the health of Coleman, except for him being in a medically induced coma.
However, as per what the family wrote on the GoFundMe page for Coleman, we can figure out that Coleman’s lungs were what took the most damage in the fire. The family in their message to the MMA community wrote, “He is needing lots of prayer to get his lungs clear.” Luckily as of now, no complications from his past surgery have not been mentioned.
