UFC President Dana White once revealed that he was actually shocked after Conor McGregor, who had no tattoos when he started MMA, got himself inked, and that too in a grand fashion.

The Irishman’s tattoos might be the most iconic ones in the whole MMA space, not only the heart-eating gorilla symbolizing the logo of his gym, SBG Ireland, but also the other ones which stand for his heritage, lineage, and spirit. However, UFC head honcho Dana White was not particularly fond of them when he saw them for the first time.

In an interview, Dana White was trying to guess the tattoos on his fighter’s body. And the first frame that popped up was that of ‘The Notorious’. Hence, White took no time in recognizing his favorite fighter, but with that, he also shared his reaction to it.

“He had no tattoos when he started. When Conor McGregor got that tattoo, I was horrified,” White said.

“And he said, ‘You know why you don’t like these tattoos? Because you are too old,”” White recalled.

The UFC supremo would have surely gotten the message to never question ‘The Notorious’ choices and maybe he still abides by it, even now.

As aforementioned, the tattoos on McGregor’s body are significant and each one of them has a meaning to it. Something that McGregor is more than willing to share.
