Following his retirement from the MMA back in 2020, Khabib Nurmagomedov took on the role of a coach. The Dagestani trained his team which also included Islam Makhachev who later became the next lightweight champion. Interestingly, ‘Eagle’s impressive record propelled Belal Muhammad to train alongside Team Khabib. The welterweight contender has been training with the former lightweight champion since his initial clash against Vincente Luque. ‘Remember The Name’s training with Khabib’s camp has been working well for him. It must be noted that Belal Muhammad has only two knockout victories in his UFC career and his second knockout can be attributed to Khabib Nurmagomedov’s training. Let’s have a look at ‘Eagle’s contribution to Muhammad’s knockout against Sean Brady.

The welterweight title contender is about to face Leon Edwards in a matter of hours and this time he might not have the ‘Eagle’ in his corner. Even with the training in Dagestan, defeating ‘Rocky’ would be not easy for Muhammad.
