Belal Muhammad Talks Down Conor McGregor’s Athletic Skills After His Infamous Failed Baseball Pitch

The welterweight division is by far one of the most exciting divisions in the UFC. Fight fans have a lot to look forward to in this division in 2022. Fan-favorite fighters, hype fighters, teammates turned rivals, all in all, big names in the sport are going to go toe to toe this year, and Belal Muhammad is here to give his opinion on it.

Recently, Belal Muhammad appeared in an interview with ‘The Schmo.’ While talking about the Colby Covington-Jorge Masvidal fight, Muhammad also talked about Conor McGregor’s infamous baseball pitch in that interview.

The Schmo compared Muhammad’s baseball pitch to be better than the one that Conor McGregor had. On which, Belal said – Yeah, I mean Conor’s a fighter. I’m an athlete and a fighter. I do it all. I could throw the first pitch, I could uh shoot a basketball, I could do it all.”

Conor McGregor is known for insinuating fights with most of the fighters within the lightweight and welterweight division. His tenacity for trash-talk and fluidity for press notoriety has established him as the big bad villain of the UFC.

Moreover, McGregor and Belal Muhammad ripped into each other on social media through their Twitter accounts. 

McGregor posted a video of him laughing at Muhammad in an interview. The latter posted a reply video of the same laughing track of Conor, except him being submitted by former lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.

What’s next for the welterweight fighter? 

Belal Muhammad has been in the UFC since 2016. With a ‘better than most’ track record, he has climbed his way into the top 5 of the welterweight division.

His last fight was against Stephen Thompson, which he won by decision. As of now, he will be fighting Vicente Luque in their rematch on April 17th at UFC: Fight Night.
