Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump had previously butted heads when they ran for the Presidential elections. However, American political commentator Ben Shapiro had taken a certain dig at Clinton. In the process, he used the name of UFC star Conor McGregor.

While speaking about Trump, Hillary Clinton had reportedly said, “If I Had Won, I Would Have Been Seen As A Genius.”

In response to this, Ben Shapiro Tweeted, “And if I beat Conor McGregor in a UFC fight, I would be seen as an amazing fighter”.

As a result, it looks like Shapiro took a dig at both Clinton and McGregor back in 2017. However, it would not be the only time he spoke about people associated with the UFC. When Joe Rogan’s podcast in trouble because of controversies, Shapiro had commented on that too.

As of now, McGregor is aiming for a return soon. Post his UFC 264 leg injury and loss against Dustin Poirier, he had to undergo surgery and subsequent rest. As a result, the fighter has been away from the octagon for a long time. Spectators would surely pump fans to see him return.
