The lightweight division of the UFC is an exciting place to be in. While the division does not have an undisputed champion, it is stacked with a lot of talent. Now, with the rumors of an undisputed title fight taking place between Charles Oliveira and Islam Makhachev, Beneil Dariush revealed whom he would like to fight if that’s the case.

In an interview with MMA Junkie, Dariush said, “You know there’s a situation with Charles right now. He’s not the champion. He wants to fight Conor. I think the UFC wants to set up Islam (Makhachev) and Charles. So it puts me kind of in limbo.”

He also said, “I mean, that’d be great. August, September whatever, we can go. We don’t have to go to Abu Dhabi. I can even go to Florida if they want. I don’t mind. So that’s one thing I had in mind.
