Hollywood star Jake Gyllenhaal will play the protagonist of the remake of the 1989 classic, ‘Road House’, alongside UFC star Conor McGregor. The movie will also feature former UFC fighter-turned-actor Jay Hieron, who recently revealed his experience working with the ‘Southpaw’ actor in a recent episode of ‘The MMA Hour’.

Jay Hieron commends Jake Gyllenhaal’s performance

‘The Thoroughbred’ was amazed at Gyllenhaal’s physique and lauded his commitment to the role. He said, “Jake [Gyllenhaal] was in sick shape… He did the work… took it serious.” Hieron mentions how Jake Gyllenhaal was already in character when he got together with the Hollywood star.

Joe Hieron said, “When I got with him, he was already dialed in with the fight and stuff, so we just rehearsed and brushed it up. He was on point.” Jake Gyllenhaal was arguably in the best shape of his life. His appearance at the weigh-in event en route to UFC 285 was much appreciated by the UFC fans in attendance.
