An interview from the past featured Derrick Lewis, who then established a historical record at UFC 291. The conversation began with renowned model and host Nina Marie Daniele, who asked Lewis about the League.

Well, concerning the wicked concept, Lewis laid it straight and said, “It Couldn’t be me (with chuckles). I couldn’t sit up there unless my slap was met and look at everyone and say, Yeah, I am good. Hell no! It couldn’t be me. They are taking too long to try to get their link back, so it couldn’t be me. I wouldn’t be professional enough to do that.”
