Gordon Ryan has always been very skeptical of Conor McGregor. The BJJ legend once stated that the Irishman is responsible for the downfall of Dillon Danis. Ryan believes that training with McGregor might have helped Dillon Danis become popular but his career fell apart because of his association with Conor McGregor who would often get into the news for the wrong reasons.

One such incident took place at UFC 229 when Danis had become the subject of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s attack after the Russian fighter defeated the former double champion.
