VanZant was one of the most popular and scrutinized fighters in the UFC roster. Fast forward seven months from her UFC 251 loss against Amanda Ribas, she is certainly the most popular Bare Knuckle fighter ever. Her addition to the roster has brought much more eyeballs to BKFC.

VanZant has a tough opponent against her in her debut fight. Hart’s professional record currently stands at 1-2 in the promotion. She lost a split decision to Bec Rawlings in her debut for BKFC.

The 26-year-old VanZant raised many eyebrows when she decided to join the BKFC promotion. She wanted to try free agency, and many were surprised in her decision to not join Bellator MMA where her husband Austin Vanderford fights in the middleweight division.

But, the former UFC fighter believed that this decision would only lessen injuries and elongate her career. She also indicated that she is open to a comeback to the UFC.

How will Paige VanZant fare in BKFC?

VanZant only has 2 T/KO wins out of her 8 professional MMA wins. She has decent striking and is working on her boxing as well. ’12 Gauge’ decided to join the famous American Top Team gym in order to prepare for her fight against Hart. We will have to wait and see how that training has helped her game.

Hart has more experience than VanZant in terms of Bare Knuckle fighting. She is coming off a knockout win over Randine Elkholm. That can certainly play a factor in the upcoming bout.
