UFC 295 marked Tom Aspinall’s emergence as the interim heavyweight champion. Aspinall is supposed to fight Jon Jones for the heavyweight belt but it seems like it will not happen. The British fighter is now willing to take on Stipe Miocic but to his surprise, even the firefighter is not willing to fight him.

The interim champ took to X(Formerly Twitter) to assert that a match between him and Miocic was possible. The tweet read “While we are talking about @stipemiocic, my manager was contacted by the UFC asking if I’d like to fight him on Apr 13th. I, of course, accepted”
