“Boxing Is the Dirtiest Sport” – UFC Legend Reveals Why Conor McGregor Can’t Follow Mike Tyson’s Advice

Since facing Floyd Mayweather Jr in a boxing match, Conor McGregor has suffered from a poor form in his MMA career. The former UFC two-weight champion has suffered three losses in his last 4 fights. In order to revive his career, boxing legend Mike Tyson gave advice to Conor McGregor. However, in a video, Chael Sonnen explained why McGregor can’t follow Tyson’s advice.
Explaining why Tyson’s advice is not possible for McGregor to take, Sonnen said, “It is interesting to me because Mike is speaking from Mike’s experience. You could do that in boxing. Boxing is the dirtiest sport in the world. They will bring in a guy off a bar stool and put a pair of gloves on him.”

He further added. “There was a story. They did a mega-event a number of years ago and they brought in a homeless man who had never boxed. It’s a true story.”
“So if Mike was in Conor’s shoes, that’s what Mike’s doing. He is being a good human being. Following the basic rule. Put myself in someone else’s shoes, What would I do? That’s what Mike would have done…We don’t do that in MMA. There is nobody within the Ultimate Fighting Championship that would fit that criteria…It’s not going to happen.”
Unforgettable Quotes of Conor McGregor
Well, this is not the first time Mike Tyson has advised Conor McGregor. The boxing legend had earlier said that McGregor’s financial success may be what is affecting his fighting career.
Mike Tyson said money has affected Conor McGregor
When Conor McGregor faced Floyd Mayweather, the former made a lot more money compared to fighting in MMA. While this served McGregor well, Mike Tyson believes that this has caused a problem for McGregor.
Mike Tyson said that when a fighter has $40 million fights and the next week, the fighter gets that money, and then when told to fight in six weeks; it becomes hard for that fighter to get out of bed.
