Joe Rogan seemingly shook the wrong tree when he hypothetically put Tyson Fury and Jon Jones in a locked room and made a bet in Jones’ favor. The act garnered a robust response from the WBC heavyweight champion. Fury bashed the UFC commentator and claimed that no one could defeat him inside the ring.

Soon after Fury’s response went viral, ‘Bones’ took to Twitter and sent a sneaky reply to the professional boxer, thereby defending his supporter. Although he claimed that he could not defeat ‘The Gypsy King’ in a boxing ring, the outcome would be pretty different if the two landed in an MMA cage. However, when a fan, intrigued by Jones’ confidence, asked him how soon he could finish the fight, Jones gave a classic two-word answer.

‘Bones’ claimed that if Fury was doubtful about the outcome in the MMA cage, or thought that he could win, he was free to contact the UFC president, Dana White. Furthermore, the UFC heavyweight champion assured that he would help Fury get the fight.

Soon after the words were released on Twitter, Jones’s confidence amazed a fan. He enquired, “How many rounds????? If you’re that confident.” It didn’t take much time for ‘Bones’ to respond. “Round one”, replied the confident 35-year-old mixed martial artist.

In the JRE episode #1960, Rogan made a claim that Jones was indeed the best fighter on the planet. He compared him with Fury. He said, “Tyson [himself] doesn’t think that. You want to talk about who’s the baddest man on the planet? If Jon Jones and Tyson Fury are locked into a room, I’m pushing all of my chips on black.”

Furthermore, he said, “Tyson Fury is an amazing boxer. [But] He doesn’t have a f**king chance in hell of making it out of that room… Zero chance.” Undeniably, this remark elicited a strong response from Fury. He made a video where he bashed the JRE host for his speculations.
