The world of mixed martial arts has been in turmoil after a dispute engulfed Jon Jones, Dana White, Francis Ngannou, and Tyson Fury. Fury recently bad-mouthed Joe Rogan, which garnered a reaction from ‘Bones’. However, instead of settling down, the fire began emanating more heat, and talks about Jones fighting Fury circulated throughout the internet.

Ngannou had previously expressed his desire to fight Fury, but the UFC president didn’t allow it. Howbeit, now the UFC president has agreed to let Jones fight ‘The Gypsy King’ inside the cage. The fans took over the comments section as soon as the quotes found their way to social media. They began bashing the UFC boss for his hypocrisy. Undeniably, the fans seemed to believe that White was unjust towards ‘The Predator’.

After the revelation that White was completely against a gimmick fight, the UFC boss agreed to let Fury fight ‘Bones’. White said to ‘BroBible’, “If Tyson Fury really wants to fight Jonn Jones in the UFC, I will make it happen … Let’s do it. If Tyson is serious, and he wants to do it, listen, I got Floyd Mayweather to fight, and we paid Floyd, we got Floyd the number he wanted. If Tyson Fury is serious, and he wants to fight Jon Jones, let’s start talking.”

As the words found their way to Instagram, fans took over the comments section and bashed the UFC president. The fans believed that White was a walking contradiction since he previously stood against the idea of gimmick fights. Furthermore, they attacked White for apparently stealing Fury from Ngannou.

  • Dana is a walking contradiction
  • You can’t dog someone for “gimmick fights” to proceed to want to put on a gimmick fight. Wtf
  • Very confusing, at first Dana says he only puts on the best MMA fights and isn’t interested in the ‘gimmick crossover’ fights but as soon as Fury talks about potential Ngannou crossover, Dana is all for a ‘gimmick crossover’ fight?
  • Didn’t he say “That’s just not what I do here” last week?
  • Dana literally just said they don’t do gimmick fights in the ufc! Lol!
