WrestleMania 41 lit up Las Vegas, but one surprise that didn’t come was Steve Austin in a Prime bottle. Yes, you heard that right. While fans roared as ‘Stone Cold’ opened Night 2 on his signature ATV, it wasn’t all smooth riding. A slight mishap with the four-wheeler saw Austin crash into a barricade, an incident he later called “embarrassing.” But even that spectacle wasn’t the headline grabber it could’ve been. That honor? A bizarre $1 million offer that never made it to the ring.

The twist came from Logan Paul, the social media star turned WWE’s wildcard. During a recent episode of his ‘Impaulsive’ podcast, Paul casually dropped a bombshell: his team offered ‘Stone Cold’ a cool million to dress as a walking Prime bottle at WrestleMania. And Austin said no, without hesitation. So, what made the professional wrestling legend slam the brakes on a million-dollar opportunity?

On a recent episode of ‘The Ariel Helwani Show’, the veteran journalist didn’t waste time asking Steve Austin about the claims that were made public by Logan Paul. Without flinching, the WWE legend replied, “If he said that, you know, I’m not gonna call him a liar… just thought that was kinda personal business.” But now that it’s public, Austin admitted, “Yeah, I turned it down.”

Why? The answer’s as simple as it is symbolic: beer over branding. Every professional wrestling fan’s mind immediately goes to the iconic celebration where ‘Stone Cold’ drinks beer while climbing the ring posts. As such, Austin proudly stated, “I’m in the beer business. I sell Broken Skull beer.”

He revealed that his prized ‘Broken Skull Beer’ brand is now sold in over 25 states. Prime? Not his flavor, as he also pointed out that he has no idea what goes into the product, whether it’s “good” or “bad”.

The WWE legend further continued, “I turned it down just because I wasn’t into it, and that’s not no disrespect to him or his product.”

Fans? They backed him up. Helwani even noted the public reaction was overwhelmingly in favor of Austin’s refusal. Let’s face it — a Prime bottle reveal ending with a stunner just wouldn’t hit the same. As such, Austin confessed, “No, man. It just that’s not my gimmick. You know? And like I said, he’s doing really well. You know, obviously, he’s hustling. I mean, he’s going to get that and more power to him.”

It’s not that Austin shuns the spotlight. He’s done countless cameos, stunners, and even a full-blown return match at WrestleMania 38 against Kevin Owens. But for him, each appearance must feel authentic. The idea of cashing in on Logan Paul’s offer for a costume? That’s where he drew the line. However, ‘The Maverick’ also turned down an offer himself recently, one worth $15 million!

Logan Paul turns down $15M challenge from Lionel Messi’s bodyguard

It all started with a lawsuit over Logan Paul’s Prime drink, the same one ‘Stone Cold’ refused to dress as! Soccer legend Lionel Messi’s camp claimed it copies their Más+ drink’s formula. Instead of sticking to the courtrooms, Paul then decided to challenge Messi to a boxing match instead. But the legendary soccer player didn’t respond. Instead, his security detail did.

Enter Yassine Cheuko. The human-tank like bodyguard posted a video on social media where he stated, “Listen Logan, I’m doing this video because a lot of people stop me on the street… There is no way out. Let’s do the fight for the people.”  The cherry on top? He ended the video by taking a large swig from Messi’s drink!

The internet buzzed with excitement. Could Logan actually survive against Messi’s real-life juggernaut who’s reportedly a former SEAL? Well, before the momentum could get rolling, Paul pumped the brakes.

In an interview with Sam Roberts on the RAW Recap show, Paul dismissed the challenge as he stated, “I got offered $15 million to fight Messi’s bodyguard.. Super appetizing, super cool, but I’m a WWE Superstar. I’m on a mission right now, and while all that other cute ancillary stuff works for other people, I’m devoting my life to this. I turned that down….”

So there you have it — two larger-than-life figures, two massive offers, and two rejections that couldn’t be more different. Steve Austin, the ‘Texas Rattlesnake’, stayed loyal to his roots. Logan Paul, on the other hand, seems to echo that same tune, at least on the surface. But fans can’t help but wonder, was it really about “the mission,” or was the moment or the opponent just too big? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
