The UFC is returning to Mexico in February. Former champion Brandon Moreno was set to take on Amir Albazi in the main event on February 24. However, the Iraqi fighter had to pull out due to an undisclosed injury and Brandon Royval stepped in to replace him. Fans have weighed in on the situation after the change for the upcoming Mexico event.

Brandon Moreno lost last time out as Alexandre Pantoja defeated him to capture the flyweight title. On the road to his comeback, ‘The Assassin Baby’ was set to face Ami Albazi, who’s undefeated in the UFC with a 5-fight winning streak. But he had to pull out and now he is prepping to run things back with an old foe.

In the previous encounter, Brandon Moreno successfully defeated Royval with a first-round TKO finish back in 2020. Now, after three years, Royval, who recently competed for the flyweight title, will have the opportunity to even the score.
