UFC middleweights Alex Pereira and Bruno Silva are reportedly set to go to war at UFC Fight Night on March 12. As it stands, no bout agreement has been signed, and the fight has yet to be officially announced by the UFC. However, both men have verbally agreed to scrap, and this news has been confirmed by sources over at MMA Junkie. Chiefly, Combate was the first to break the news to fight fans.
The 185-pound division is primed for the taking and Israel Adesanya is looking out for new faces to fight. Both men offer their own intriguing narratives to fight the champion. However, Pereira’s case is far more compelling.

‘Poatan’ scored a sensational knockout over ‘Izzy’ back when both men laced up the gloves in the kickboxing ring. Adesanya has never been knocked out cleanly in MMA and Alex Pereira will want to be the man to KO ‘Izzy’ for the first time in the cage.
Alex Pereira vs Bruno Silva could be a thriller
‘Poatan’ is 4-1 as an MMA professional and recently recorded a stunning UFC debut back in November. The credentialed GLORY kickboxer landed a picturesque flying knee to the chin of Andreas Michailidis and knocked him out cold. Michailidis was out of commission before he hit the canvas and Pereira certainly capitalized on his debut spotlight.
