The former UFC bantamweight champion, Petr Yan, took to Twitter recently to announce his return to the Octagon. He will take on Aljamain Sterling in a rematch and will have the opportunity to reclaim his belt. Earlier this year, at UFC 259, ‘No Mercy’ lost his belt when he landed an illegal knee on Sterling and was disqualified.

Yan will look to re-establish the fact that he is the actual champion of the division. ‘No Mercy’s technical stand-up game is as crisp as one can expect it to be and he can put his opponents’ lights out. Sterling needs to avoid this at all costs.
