The former UFC bantamweight champion, Petr Yan, took to Twitter recently to announce his return to the Octagon. He will take on Aljamain Sterling in a rematch and will have the opportunity to reclaim his belt. The Russian had faced some stern criticism for landing a blatant illegal shot in a championship-level fight against Aljamain Sterling at UFC 259. Now, he will look to carry forward his dominance over the first three rounds to the UFC 267 PPV and reclaim his belt.

Yan will look to re-establish the fact that he is the actual champion of the division. ‘No Mercy’s technical stand-up game is as crisp as one can expect it to be and he can put his opponents’ lights out. Sterling needs to avoid this at all costs.
