UFC heavyweight Derrick Lewis is set for a return to the Octagon later this year. ‘The Black beast’ is set to take on Chris Daukaus in December. Both fighters are known for their exceptional knockout prowess. Fans can anticipate a barn-burner when the duo eventually collides in December.
The duo will share the Octagon later this year at a UFC Fight Night event. Lewis last fought at UFC 265. He was stopped by Ciryl Gane with the interim heavyweight title on the line. The Texas native will be determined to get back on the win column after a disappointing outing last term.

Daukaus, on the other hand, is fresh off a vicious knockout win against Shamil Abdurakhimov at UFC 266. He is currently on a 5-fight winning streak with all of those coming by knockout. The 12-3 fighter has a total of 11 finishes in his resume so far.
Lewis is the record holder for the most knockouts in the history of the UFC’s heavyweight division. He will look to add Daukaus to his ever-increasing list.
Can Derrick Lewis get a win against Chris Daukaus?

Lewis is hands down the scariest power puncher to ever touch down on the UFC canvas. He will look to put his disappointment against Gane behind him and get back to title contention again. Gane was technically too good for ‘The Black Beast’.
However, Daukaus is very fast for a man of his size as well. He can be a problem for anybody in the heavyweight division. Lewis is certainly the more experienced fighter. He will look to use his power advantage in this fight as well. But, against someone like Daukaus, it’s easier said than done. Then again, Lewis can end any fight with one shot, which he doesn’t even need to connect clean.
