Bo Nickal is arguably one of the most highly-rated prospects in the history of the UFC. The 5-o middleweight fighter came into the UFC as an expert in the wrestling department. Meanwhile, he recently took aim at Khamzat Chimaev. He trashed his fellow undefeated UFC fighter’s wrestling skills, which has garnered the attention of fans on social media.
Khamzat Chimaev has made a name for himself in the UFC for manhandling and rag-dolling his opponents inside the Octagon. On the other side, Bo Nickal is an NCAA Division I champion. It has led him to make some wild claims about ‘Borz’s wrestling skills. Let us take a look at his comments in a recent appearance on the ‘Clash of Combat’ podcast.

Bo Nickal doesn’t rate the wrestling skills of Khamzat Chimaev
The 27-year-old UFC fighter spoke about the Swedish fighter’s wrestling and threw shade at him. He claimed that Chimaev’s wrestling was not even average, but below that. Bo Nickal said, “It’s [Chimaev’s wrestling] trash. I won’t even say mid.” Moreover, when the podcast host reiterated ‘Borz’s amateur wrestling record, he ridiculed Chimaev.

In an attempt to take a jibe, Nickal said, “That’s incredible. 12-0 in three years.” Similarly, he also stated that he knows there will be a point in his career when he’ll cross paths with Khamzat Chimaev. According to Nickal, that will not bode well for the Swedish fighter as he will show him the level at which he wrestles. “We’re gonna fight at some point and people will realize that there’s levels,” said the 27-year-old fighter. Let’s take a look at what the fans had to say about that.
Fans warn Bo Nickal about his wild claims
The fans did not side with the rising UFC prospect with what he had to say about Khamzat Chimaev. They believe that there will soon come a time when Nickal will finally get humbled inside the Octagon.

Some fans stated that wrestling in MMA is very different from wrestling in the Olympics or in college athletics.
We just saw a gold Olympic wrestler getting taken down by a d1 4 times, Madsen was a silver taken down by everybody he fought, DC taken down by jones. The bum will learn that MMA wrestling is different, the hard way
