Ever since his controversial victory against Jared Gordon at UFC 282, Paddy Pimblett has been under intense scrutiny and facing severe backlash from fans and critics alike. However, before he could bounce back from it, fate dealt him another blow in the form of an ankle injury, which sidelined him from the octagon.
Despite the setback, the Liverpudlian fighter has recently made headlines again by accepting a fight against Matt Frevola, whom he recently trolled on social media. Frevola is coming off a spectacular first-round knockout victory against Drew Dober at UFC 288, where he called out Pimblett for a clash in his post-fight speech. However, ‘The SteamRolla’ made some snide remarks to Pimblett while doing so, which only added fuel to the fire.

But things took an interesting turn when Frevola met Pimblett in person. The 32-year-old fighter, who had previously been taunting the Englishman, suddenly changed his tune and displayed a duality in his behavior. This contradictory behavior has left fans with mixed reactions and sparked a debate on social media.
Paddy Pimblett exhibits Matt Frevola’s duality
The outspoken Huyton native took to his Instagram and shared a clip of his next opponent, Matt Frevola. The clip showcased Frevola bashing him during the call out, saying, “Paddy Pimblett. You absolutely suck. Stop being a “b*tch.” But the tone changed drastically as he saw Pimblett in person in the gym and said, “I love you, Bro.”
