Conor McGregor shared advice regarding how to deal with pain
Before his fight against Austin Hubbard, which he lost, Aaron McKenzie was involved in a training session with Conor McGregor. Moreover, during a sparring session, McKenzie got hit with a nasty body kick to which ‘Notorious’ provided him with a suggestion to deal with the pain. McGregor advised him to think that the pain is not anything to worry about. He said, “Tell yourself. It ain’t nothing.”

Then he provided McKenzie with a way to deal with pain. He asked the lightweight fighter to throw the pain away. McGregor added, “Put your hands on – there’s the pain, the pain’s here.” He continued, “Put your hands, close your eyes [and] feel where the pain is.” After telling him to feel where the pain lies in his body, the former double champion asked McKenzie to bring out the pain in the palm of his hand and throw it away like a stone. “Feel yourself grabbing it out of there… it’s no longer here. Now you can actually feel the pain here… then just get f***ing rid of it.”
