Khabib and Khamzat are not related and have been on bad terms. They had a fallout after Chimaev made some comments on ‘The Eagle’. Their clash reportedly settled after he apologized to Khabib. Tensions grew after Chimaev said he could smash Nurmagomedov in an Instagram live session. This led to arguments and mockery between them. Fans anticipated a fight between the undefeated fighters.

He said, “I’m famous now, and the most famous guy from the UFC, Izzy [Adesanya] and me and Conor [McGregor] and Khabib [Nurmagomedov].”
