Edson Barboza, the UFC featherweight contender, has fought his way through since his debut in 2010. Although the fighter lost his debut fight, he quickly turned his game up and registered his name in the fans’ memories. He ran a winning streak over Makan Amirkhani and Shane Burgos. Sadly, his streak could not go on, as he lost his fight against Giga Chikadze, and later Bryce Mitchell. However, his efforts got noticed by the fans. As a token of appreciation, the fans painted a mural for the Brazilian fighter in his hometown.

The fighter indeed felt joyful as he looked at the mural. However, the fans of the sport had nothing but regret. While the fans showed respect for the Brazilian warrior, they couldn’t honor the painting as much.

Fans have nothing but respect for the fighter and disapproval for the mural

Recently, the featherweight fighter took to Instagram and shared his happiness with the world. He found a mural of himself in his hometown and decided to pose beside it. The mural had the Brazilian in a fighting stance with UFC gloves on.
