UFC star Conor McGregor is seen as one of the best trash talkers in the game. While there are many who have objected to certain things he has said while trash-talking, he has said many memorable lines.

One such example is when he faced boxer Floyd Mayweather. McGregor’s boxing match against one of the best boxers was a huge deal for MMA and boxing fans. Prior to the match, the UFC fighter said many lines which his fans still remember.
During their final pre-fight press conference both the athletes said some golden lines. While there are many press-conference videos that could not catch what the athletes were saying to each other, many have managed to share what McGregor and Mayweather said.

McGregor said, “Boom! Head off the canvas. And the new King of boxing.”

That’s when Mayweather said, “You’re a comedian.”

Post this back and forth, both wished each other a cold ‘good luck’. Many fans thought McGregor was extremely funny. Several viewers today also thought the Irish fighter’s attitude was a total contrast during the Khabib Nurmagomedov fight.
There are several other conferences and interviews where the 22-6-0 record holder delivered some hilarious lines.

Has trash-talking ever got Conor McGregor in trouble?
The UFC star made a big name for himself with his verbal and fight skills. However, he has come under the fire for saying some really controversial things. For example, McGregor made some problematic comments about invading Jose Aldo’s ‘favela’ prior to their UFC 194 fight. Aldo who has risen from poverty was upset post this jibe.
In addition to this, he had also called Nate Diaz and Andre Fili some problematic names. Further, his trash-talking against rival Dustin Poirier too got a little too personal.

Apart from all of this, his trash-talking against Nurmagomedov prior to their fight was also disliked by many as it had crossed boundaries.
