At UFC 254, Khabib Nurmagomedov defended his lightweight title against Justin Gaethje. After winning the fight, Nurmagomedov called the curtains on his career. While Nurmagomedov remains connected with MMA through his promotion Eagle FC, fans also see the former champion training his AKA teammates. In a recent video, fans can see some of them complaining because of the grueling sessions Nurmagomedov puts them through.

In an Instagram reel uploaded by the AKA coach, Javier Mendez, fans can see AKA fighters drained in sweat while training. Javier Mendez asks the fighters, “Is my second coach crazy?” to which a fighter replies, saying yes.

Mendez asks Nurmagomedov, “Hey, you. Why are these guys calling you crazy? Nurmagomedov replies to Mendez saying, “Honestly, it was too much, coach. I agree.”
Fans see Usman Nurmagomedov saying, “Coach, he, everyday kill everybody, I dont know why?”
The UFC fighter, Umar Nurmagomedov, interrupted by saying, “Buy for him ticket, and send him Russia please coach.”

While the fighters at AKA jokingly complain about Nurmagomedov putting them through hard training sessions, ‘The Eagle‘ himself is not a new customer to the same.
Khabib Nurmagomedov trained on mountains and wrestled bears
It is no secret that to be in the UFC, one has to work very hard. But, to be in the UFC and then be a champion as dominant as Khabib Nurmagomedov, one has to work as hard as he does.
In an interview, Nurmagomedov revealed the importance of training on mountains. Training in the mountains helped Nurmagomedov increase his endurance. Since the mountains are 2000 feet above sea level, ‘The Eagle’ struggled there, and he feels it strengthened him on the ground.

Training in the mountains also affects durability positively. These training sessions in the mountains were an approach taken by Nurmagomedov’s late father Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov. This approach helped ‘The Eagle’ and his teammates compete at the highest level.
Along with his training in the mountains, Nurmagomedov’s father made ‘The Eagle’ wrestle bears when he was a kid. Nurmagomedov said that while he used to complain about the bear biting him, his father used to ask him to bite the bear back and keep moving forward.

Well, the success Khabib Nurmagomedov has received is well deserved. After putting in so much work, ‘The Eagle’ won the UFC lightweight championship, retired undefeated, and will soon be inducted into the UFC hall of fame.
