Following her victory over Talia Santos at PFL 2024 Championships, Dakota Ditcheva has been making quite some noise online. Well, it’s not exactly her, but the fans and legendary fighters like Conor McGregor, who have put Dana White and Co. on alert. You see, when Ditcheva came in to watch the battles at BKFC 71, ‘The Notorious’ simply couldn’t sway away from praising the rising PFL star. He told her, “You’re the next big thing, baby. Strong women, good girl. F–k awesome. Great to see you. Great to finally meet you… Superstar. 100%.” That’s quite an endorsement from the sport’s biggest star!

But even though she is one of the top stars in PFL, the English fighter has faced a bit of trouble getting fights. Let’s get into some statistics! ‘Dangerous’ has remained undefeated to date with 14 wins, glorifying her professional MMA career. She decimated Valentina Scatizzi at the PFL Europe 4 and then went on to claim her latest gold at the PFL 2024 Championships.

To make things worse for her opponents, the English flyweight has won 12 of her fights via KO/TKO. And yet, the PFL was unable to get her a decent fight. Talking about not having a scheduled bout during an interview with MMA Junkie, Ditcheva said, “I’m gutted that I haven’t had anything just yet I’m just like: Get me anything. Literally, I get it’s hard for PFL. They’ve put all the girls in the tournament. Now they have to find someone that’s going to give me a good competition.”

But finally, the Donn Davis-led promotion secured a big fight for her. She’s going to fight Sumiko Inaba at PFL Championship Series on 26 July 2025. But before we get to watch her next fight, PFL’s Instagram profile pushed forth a question for the MMA realm. The profile shared a visual of the fight between Ditcheva and Santos from November 2024. The intention of the video?

It was to find out the exact number of knees it took ‘Dangerous’ to ultimately drop Santos. The caption to the post read, “How many [Dakota Ditcheva] knees can you take? 😅🦵The 2024 PFL Women’s Flyweight World Champion returns as #PFLChampionSeries lands in Cape Town, South Africa/ #PFLCapeTown | Saturday July 26 | GrandWest Arena | South Africa.” And the number of knees it took to finish the fight with a TKO stoppage? The counter went up to 28 knees!

And as soon as PFL dropped the video on the social media platform, the fighting community took over the comments section. They had just one intention behind their words. And that was to convince Dana White to get Ditcheva a contract. In recent times, the PFL has been bleeding its top stars left, right, and center owing to its matchmaking disasters. Stars like Patricio Pitbull and Aaron Pico have already landed in the UFC. So, will the surging 125fer be next? Let’s see what the fans had to say.

Fight fans want Dana White to bring Conor McGregor-endorsed PFL star into the UFC

You see, if Dakota Ditcheva got a contract in the UFC, the fighting realm would get to see battles like never before. This is the sole reason why fight fans want the Manchester native to make her UFC debut soon. And when she does, it probably wouldn’t take long for her to claim the flyweight belt. Or that’s what the fans liked to think. One of the fans branded her as “Dakota DaBeast ….future UFC champ.” Another fan commented, “I hope she signs for the UFC soon.” One more fan added to the demand and wrote, “Dakota, she needs to go to the UFC.”

For some fans, Ditcheva was a nostalgic factor. Ditcheva vs. Santos reminded one fan of the twin bouts between Anderson Silva and Rich Franklin, where ‘The Spider’ secured a win via KO on two different occasions. The comment read, “Dakota wasn’t even getting tired. Reminds me of Silva vs Franklin.. her liver punch looks like bas.. she’s the real deal. I can’t wait to see her in the UFC.”

Moreover, being compared to the godfather of the liver shot in the form of former UFC heavyweight champ Bas Rutten is a big achievement. Meanwhile, a few others believed that the 26-year-old PFL star had the power to defeat Valentina Shevchenko. The comment went like, “I’d say she beats Svenchenko.” It was pretty clear that Ditcheva’s proficiency in the art of 8 limbs was dangerous. One fan weighed in on this and wrote, “No-opponent is taking those knees to the face from Dakota… nor the elbows either! 🦵🏽💪🏽💥”

However, there was another fan who claimed, “Try that on me and see what happens 😤.” You know what Ditcheva replied to him? She wrote, “I will, you’ll have 2 of them 👊🏼.” Needless to say, her confidence shone pretty brightly. But will her performance at PFL: Cape Town be enough to convince Dana White to send a contract to Ditcheva? Or will we actually see her fight in BKFC next? Let us know what you think in the comments down below.
