U.S. author Candace Owens was all praise for former UFC interim welterweight champion Colby Covington. The conservative activist was in the headlines last year for getting in a heated back and forth with rapper Cardi B.
Covington has been one of the most entertaining fighters on the UFC roster. In the past few years, ‘Chaos’ has cemented himself as one of the best the promotion has to offer. The welterweight is very active in the political spectrum and dubs himself as the former U.S. president ‘Donald Trump’s favorite fighter,’ much to the irk of his nemesis Jorge Masvidal.

I first started getting into UFC, [When] I became friends with Colby Covington. And so I went into the fight before I knew Dana. I went to a Colby Covington fight. Absolutely love Colby,” she said.

The former ‘Best-friends’ will fight in one of the biggest grudge matches in the promotion’s history. They will headline the next PPV event on March 5th at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
‘Chaos’ and ‘Gamebred’ are both coming out of losses against the welterweight kingpin of the UFC, Kamaru ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ Usman. Both elite welterweights got their shots at the 170-pounds gold in 2021 but couldn’t capitalize on it.
