Conor McGregor always delivers things to talk about, especially on Twitter. With over 9 million followers on the platform, the fans are treated with banter more often than not. 

McGregor displayed his excitement for Jose Aldo’s fight against Merab Dvalishvili taking place at UFC 278. The Irish champion, being notorious as he claims to be, didn’t fail to take a dig at his former nemesis, Khabib Nurmagomedov.

McGregor tweets, “Aldo is such an incredible fighter! A real all-timer! How’s that other fat smell bag doing? How is it that he never lost but he is still a loser hahaha smelly sh*t pant rat? Let’s go, Aldo! A great fight with the little rocket level changer in Mirab. Can’t wait, I love fighting.”

When and against who will Conor McGregor make a return?

McGregor has indicated on several occasions that his leg, which was injured during the Poirier trilogy fight, is almost close to being completely healed. He’s constantly been uploading footage of him sparring and training, making his fans more and more excited about his return.

With eyes set on the gold, McGregor has also received a green signal from Charles Oliveira. Meanwhile, Bronx has been very vocal about wanting to fight McGregor. Although, he’s got his hands full for now, as he has a challenge in front of him in Islam Makhachev.

The pair will square off at UFC 280 for the undisputed lightweight belt. It’s quite possible that Charles gets a win over Islam. He’ll be fighting McGregor next.

Michael Chandler has also thrown his name in the mix. He has called out Conor on several occasions and also received a response from the Mystic Mac. 

With so many fights in line for him, his fans cannot wait for Conor McGregor to make a return to the octagon.

Drake has a bet of $238K on Aldo

The tweet also displayed that Drake, a renowned Canadian Music artist, has bet $238,000 on Aldo to win the fight. Drake, also known as Champagne Papi, has gained a reputation for being a huge gambling man when it comes to betting on the UFC.

He was in the news recently for betting on Paddy Pimblett and Molly McCann. He won close to $3.7 million from that bet. He also gifted a pair of Rolex to both fighters.
