Former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira was hitting headlines after his bout against Beneil Dariush at UFC 288 was canceled. The UFC community eagerly looked forward to watching ‘Do Bronx’ lock horns against Dariush. However, the fight didn’t come to fruition, as Oliveira withdrew from the bout due to an undisclosed injury. Oliveira’s decision messed up the whole expectation of the fans. Earlier, it was decided that the winner between the two would face the current UFC lightweight champion, Islam Makhachev.

The cancellation of the fight caused great disappointment to his opponent, Dariush, as well. He was practicing hard to reach the title bout. However, at the moment, Oliveira is catching the attention of the netizens for a failed leg snap attempt.

In a video posted by Collision MMA, Oliveira is seen trying to snap the leg of a man in the chair. He tries his best and then fails. Soon, the former lightweight champion realized that the man had leg prosthetics on. Fans were quick to react to Oliveira’s failed attempt.

Even though Oliveira failed to get the leg snap, he is indeed a great fighter. His title reign was nothing short of magnificent. Oliveira faced the former lightweight Bellator champion, Michael Chandler, at UFC 262. After winning his belt, he was able to emerge victorious against the top lightweights, which included Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje. However, because of missing weight, Oliveira was not able to retain his belt after the Gaethje clash. This was followed by a terrible loss against Islam Makhachev.
