Raul Rosas Jr. has been on the rise ever since he won his debut match in the UFC against Jay Perrin. Without a doubt, his return to the Octagon was anticipated by the fans. However, the induction of a new fighter indirectly displaces an existing warrior. Such was the case with Chris Curtis, who recently got displaced by the 18-year-old. The middleweight warrior expressed his frustrations as the schedule for UFC 287 was released.

The 35-year-old claimed that it was because of the young and rising warrior he didn’t get the well-deserved fight on the main card. Curtis would fight Kelvin Gastelum on the preliminary card, while Rosas Jr. got the main card with Christian Rodriguez. The fighter took to Twitter and shared his frustration with the world.

Recently, the promotion released the stack for UFC 287, with Alex Pereira versus Israel Adesanya in the main event and Gilbert Burns versus Jorge Masvidal for the co-main event. Although the main events have seemingly enhanced the excitement of the MMA fans, Curtis felt nothing but disappointment. He took to Twitter and revealed the reason behind his ‘salty’ mood.

Curtis got relegated to the preliminary bouts in order to move the teenage MMA sensation to the pay-per-view events. Without a doubt, these types of changes sadden the competitors. ‘Action-Man’ claimed he was one of the best cards of the year and yet, he got bounced from the main card.
