Chuck Liddell is one of the earlier champions of the UFC who made the sport famous. He was one of the few who first pushed the promotion to a spot where MMA evolved and was readily recognized in the United States of America. Liddell is also a former light heavyweight champion of the world. He’s defeated many, but his latest foe isn’t a fighter!

In fact, it isn’t even a person. ‘The Iceman’ has now long retired from the cage and spends his leisure time living his life to the fullest. In recent times, Liddell was seen relaxing on a yacht in San Diego. Regardless, things went a little bit out of control.

In the latest clip making rounds on the internet, Liddell can be seen speaking to someone while on the yacht in San Diego Bay. The clip shows him suddenly losing balance and falling backward into the water. Liddell’s friends were quite able to grasp that he’d fallen and needed rescuing quickly enough.

Soon though, everyone ran to his rescue, and his friends quickly dove in as well, the clip shows the UFC star being pulled back on board from the other end of the boat. Certainly, not the kind of experience Liddell would want to have for a second time.

‘The Iceman’ is reportedly safe and hasn’t suffered too much. Sources report that he even later had some food delivered to the yacht which was nice and dry after a while. However, UFC fans couldn’t help but react in their usual ways on Instagram.
