Claressa ‘GWOAT’ Shields is one of the best fighters this world has ever witnessed. GWOAT (Greatest Woman Of All-time) definitely suits her well, as she is the first boxer in history, be it male or female, to hold all four major world titles in boxing (WBA, WBC, IBF, and WBO) in two weight divisions at the same time. This proves that she certainly does justice to her moniker.

While the rest of the world was watching the battle between Anthony Joshua and Ukraine’s Oleksandr Usyk last night at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, our champion Claressa Shields was watching too.

The fight was definitely a spectacular one for all boxing fans and had everyone on the edge of their seats.

Claressa Shields takes to Twitter to share her thoughts

Soon after the fight, the Olympic gold medalist turned to Twitter to express her thoughts on the boxing match between Anthony Joshua and Ukraine’s Oleksandr Usyk. Anthony Joshua was unable to defend his WBA, IBF, and WBO heavyweight belts against Oleksandr Usyk, and the Ukrainian won the fight via unanimous decision (117-112, 116-112, 115-113).

She asked on Twitter, “Was it 9 seconds early on the clock and the bell rang?” Champion Claressa could be confused, and she possibly paid little attention towards the end of the fight, as she later deleted her tweet from her timeline.

However, it’s also possible that her management forced her to delete her tweet, in order to prevent any controversy. Although that seems doubtful, given that she merely asked a question.

Shields later responded to American basketball player, Damian Lillard on Twitter, who made the same claim as she did.

After all, it appears that the GWOAT was perplexed, as said she thought she was ‘tripping’. AJ, the defending champion, put everything on the line for the fight, and despite losing to the Ukrainian, he put up one hell of a fight. Anthony Joshua was battered by Oleksandr Usyk near the end of the final round. Usyk had the champion cornered against the ropes and unleashed a barrage of punches on him. Some, including our champion, Claressa, believe the fight ended sooner. Additionally, Joe Rogan and Damian Lillard felt the same way.

However, such a major error on this big stage with so much at stake is very implausible. What do you think? Did the fight end earlier than usual? Let us know in the comments.
