‘No Love’ will make his flyweight debut against Kai-Kara France on the main card of UFC 269. Meanwhile, ‘Sugar’ will take on Raulian Paiva in a bantamweight bout. However, this didn’t keep them from taking shots at each other.

Both Garbrandt and O’Malley have previously indulged in a verbal war on the internet. However, during the press conference, the rivalry got heated as the men verbally attacked each other and the security had to separate them as things escalated into a face-off.

However, this was not the end. As a reporter asked ‘Sugar’ if he lived up to the hype, he responded by taking yet another shot at the former champion.

O’Malley said, “It is super cool to be up here. I am constantly, you know, squaring off with Cody or whatever. There are just so many fights for me in the next. Cody’s one fight away from the commentary booth next to Dominick Cruz. So I don’t know what the f*ck he’s talking about.”

‘No Love’ interrupted ‘Sugar’ and reminded him that he has done more in the promotion than O’Malley will do in the future. He said, “I’ve still done more than you’re ever going to do in this career. You’re going to amount to nothing. Trust me. Once you lose, you’re going to get carried out on another stretcher and where are you going to be at?”

Sean O’Malley Will Clash Against Raulian Paiva in the Main Card of UFC 269

‘Sugar’ is one of the most prominent names in the division. He has gained much popularity among UFC fans for his unique style and charismatic persona. He has only one loss in the UFC since his debut.

However, ‘Sugar’ is still unranked in the bantamweight division of UFC. He is currently on a two-fight undefeated streak and will take on the unranked fighter Raulian Paiva inside the UFC cage.

Meanwhile, Paiva is on a three-fight undefeated streak in the promotion. The Brazilian has competed in more MMA fights than O’Malley. However, the latter is the more experienced UFC fighter and might have an upper hand in the fight, given his run in the division.
